• Cold War Q&A. Good point about Truman but I take a rather different view on trying to stop the USSR in the beginning. Of course Germany helped start it, sending Lenin back to Russia to knock it out of the war. What might part of a non-state/non-interventionist solution have been? Something like the RAF’s Eagle Squadrons early in WWII, individual volunteers? My view on the revolution: its first part, the February revolution, was just, a matter of survival and stopping the insanity of the war, and included some tsarists; the October one in which Lenin took over was evil.
