I’ve been gone most of the day because after the snowstorm I had to catch up with my actual work. So here better late than never are today’s libertarian headlines.

• Pope Benedict’s defence of authentic equality. Of equal opportunity not equal outcome, or egalitarianism is unfair because of course everybody’s not the same. That and the need to protect the natural right of free association and freedom of religion within a pluralist society.
• Gun control and the war on drugs.
• Peaceful Palestinian resistance paying off.
• The tea-party movement turns on Ron Paul. A mob’s not always right and the GOP have infiltrated this. Something with so much potential was fatally compromised by reverting to red-state fascism.
• Real conservatism: principles not personalities.
• Just say snow to government.
• Faith, snow and government.
