• The battle within the right on immigration. I don’t like the anti-immigration side; I like open borders, ‘the free movement of people’, but appreciate the practical argument (limited resources so citizens first) and the Anti-Gnostic’s and others’ points about the left’s social engineering and power-grabbing (collectivist multiculturalism) including wanting to replace certain natives (the ‘wrong’ whites).
• A tip of my summer straw fedora to John Dennis’s noble fight to win Nancy Pelosi’s district.
• You don’t want to live in a Muslim country nor do you want to ban the burqa. Bad precedent against religious liberty.
