Ethnic voting’s OK when they do it: Ed Schultz on MSNBC was, as usual, throwing around the liberal’s N-word: racist. But first he talked about the importance of getting out the black vote for the Democrats. Then he interviewed African-American Congressman James Clyburn about the absolute necessity of blacks voting for the Democrats in House elections. Imagine if anyone had urged getting out the white vote. But it is racist, said Ed, for Tea Party people to criticize Obama too unkindly.
Sarah Palin says the Tea Party people are winning. The question is, what are they winning? To answer that question, I am doing a review of the nine US Senate Tea Party candidates identified by the New York Times. The issue? How many are proposing the elimination of a single federal agency? So far, none. Stay tuned.
