• Sailer on Obama. I know it’s the law but I don’t care what country he’s from. That said I’ve always agreed with Sailer that he’s not from Kenya: a pregnant woman flying/sailing from Hawaii halfway around the world to a Third World country to give birth, especially 50 years ago, would have been unthinkable. The only reason he’s president is he happens to look like American blacks, something he’s been working for years (failing at first: Chicago blacks knew he wasn’t one of them); an affirmative-action president. He’s mostly been honest about not being for peace but people ignored that because of this. That and his strongest support is not of the class that enlists and gets sent to Afghanistan. Half-Indonesian Barry Soetoro would not have gone as far as Barack Obama the younger did. I’ve heard the man in person: charming speechmaking... about nothing.
