From RR
- WikiLeaks’ Assange calls Facebook ‘most appalling spying machine ever’. “Facebook, Google, Yahoo, all these major U.S. organizations have built-in interfaces for U.S. intelligence,” Assange said.
- LRC: springtime for the régime.
- Obama’s broken Guantánamo promise.
- Man with AS vs bully cop. I don’t hate the police and honestly, probably like you, I’d give my name (nothing to hide, I Peter 2:17 and all that). That said, all he was guilty of to begin with was sitting on the grass while black and wearing a hoodie. The writer’s right: AS is nothing to do with it. Defending one’s right to sit on the grass is not pathological.
- Not that Obama takes Italy seriously but Italy pledges to seek end date for NATO’s Libya mission.
- Idiot pols vote to inflict more prohibition fantasies on cold sufferers. I use store-knockoff Afrin but anyway.
- More idiot pols: CIA deserves free pass on atrocities for catching bin Laden.
- Budget talks: Republicans try to head off real cuts by selling out ASAP.
- The debt-ceiling scaremongers.
- The illogic of the torture debate.
- War is a sticky business.
- Why are we still in Afghanistan?
- Dirty government I: ripping you off on washing machines for your own good of course.
- Dirty government II: the detergent ripoff. I use TSP.
- Justin Raimondo: empire or solvency?
- Why I don’t feel much about bin Laden’s death. How can anyone aware of what the U.S. is doing in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen and Libya feel nationalistic pride at this moment in history?
