Reckless endangerment
Walter Russell Mead on the Minority Mortgage Meltdown: handing people mortgages they couldn’t afford, doing so because they weren’t white, nothing to do with defending non-whites’ liberty to buy houses.

This doesn’t seem to say, as I think Sailer does, that the Bush administration was as much to blame.

Chris Johnson says, in a different context:
Because for the Republicans, the question remains. Have you learned anything?
Probably not. The GOP always does an impression of us libertarians when it’s not in power. I’m not buying it.
