As a Boston resident for the last 7 years (and I fit right in, being Italian and coming from another Northeastern city full of white ethnics), I can't answer your question, not having ever been to Philadelphia. I must remedy that at some point!
ReplyDeleteI must point out to Sailer, though, that "Boston" is really more witnessed outside Boston proper these days. With 250,000 college students and tons of young professionals in the area, surrounding towns like Revere and Medford have a more undiluted "Boston" vibe.
