IIRC the US has the most prisoners of any developed nation

• Weird, silly laws in Georgia about sex: the absurdity of consensual crime
• Scotland: ‘Perhaps he will be banned from working with bicycles or not allowed to live with 500 metres of a bike shop’
• Fugitive captured after 28 years: he was jailed for drugs and thus probably never should have been in there
• Another drug-war victim: because the state knows what’s good for you
