Republican presidential contender Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who was tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, voted against the measure Wednesday.So much for his only redeeming quality (putative opposition to torture because of his experience).
Don't apologize for things you didn't do, to people who don't believe in forgiveness or redemption.
