Moral regeneration, degeneration, confusion

Prayer and temperament

Oh, yes
  • Pre-conciliar, traditional Catholicism is not monolithic: many rites, many cultures, many spiritualities!
  • There’s this.
  • Fr Ivan Clutterbuck in Marginal Catholics on Ceylon (Sri Lanka): The Tamils who had emigrated south from India and settled round Jaffna were a hard-working, thrifty race rather like the Scots in character and better suited to Evangelical ways. The Sinhalese, natives of the island, are a happy-go-lucky, volatile race who easily took to Anglo-Catholicism.
From Fr Methodius.
