‘Most of all we ask for ways that allow us to bring our folk with us’
Damian Thompson agrees with the (soon-to-be-former?) Bishop of Ebbsfleet quoted above. Just one question: Mgr Graham Leonard was conditionally ordained so why not many others in the next couple of years?

Still more from me FWIW.

On those who stay (and like in the 1990s there will be), or ‘ritualist congregationalism’ as reader AMM described it; as the bishop more kindly puts it:
The ‘non-jurors’ of the present day will soldier on and die out but they will be faithful to what they have believed and history will honour them for their faithfulness.
From Fr Jeffrey Steel.
