My day
For the paper I got to interview this lovely person, a retired art teacher who now runs a special school for kids on the autistic spectrum and with other difficulties.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind... A most impressive noise. Winter is coming back with a vengeance after a few spring-like days. The wind knocked over this bench among other things.
This mural was painted a few years ago to celebrate a town’s centenary. The people are the actual town officials as imagined in period garb.
Donna told me that the Italian greyhound pictured in my lap in November died today: he’d had seizures throughout his life and what seemed to be a stroke a fortnight ago. RIP Bugs.
