• ‘Are you proud to be white?’ Er, no. I despise the obsession with race that is forced upon us by the nanny state. I’m always having to fill out these forms that ask my race. Liberals are so fixated on race that they would make a Nazi Gauleiter proud. As is a corner of my part of the right. If the unmentionable (that on average some races may be smarter than others) is true so what? The answer remains one high standard for all, for the common good, regardless of race. All are welcome to try. To think otherwise is to buy into racial collectivism, which I refuse to do. Determinism is wrong too. The ‘vulgar jerks’ and the Sotomayors they make fun of are wrong in the same way.
• Also the market self-corrects this. As von Mises explained, a businessman who refuses to serve certain people, to take their money, is in the end hurting himself!
