• No such thing as mass culture any more? And hooray for choice thanks to cable, satellites and the Internet. I never saw ‘Lost’. Regular readers know what my soap opera (which I’ve always admitted is one) is (ironically it’s nostalgic for when there were fewer choices). The comments thread on the awfulness of ‘M*A*S*H’ is fun too (I liked the peace message and of course the few characters who really seemed like they were from 1951).
