• Budget cuts might even touch war machine.
• Pro-life row with MTV. Politically I hold no brief for Palin but don’t hate her either. Who’s surprised that MTV’s pro-death? As Hilary might say, it’s dedicated to prolonging immaturity/irresponsibility (my God, how the money rolls in).
• Taking without consent is stealing.
• ‘Capitalists’ don’t actually like capitalism.
• Gary Johnson: more Medicare cuts than House GOP. Choices I hope to have next year: Ron Paul, him or a bona-fide Libertarian Party candidate, not a fakertarian draftee/ringer like Bob Barr (why I stayed home in November ’08).
• Non-interventionism.
• Sad but understandable: UK Libertarian Party shuts down. Libertarianism to the British is like Chaucer in the original: rooted in their history and culture but incomprehensible now.
