A bowling lesson for those interested

The trick: to start out, right-handers tilt their wrists just a little to the left and roll the ball straight towards one of the right arrows in the lane, not towards the middle. In other words you fake yourself out. The ball then hooks a little to the left ending up hitting ‘the pocket’ just to the right of the head (No. 1) pin, knocking down the most pins. Keep the thumb very loose in its hole in the ball. Follow through after you roll the ball: have your hand end up pointing straight ahead to the arrow you’re aiming at. Try crouching to improve your aim, and/or try crossing the leg you push off of, the right leg for right-handers, behind you as you roll the ball. That seeming dance move actually steadies you like a rudder.
