From Ad Orientem
  • Germans of course fear inflation from bailing out other European countries.
  • Bishop Fellay says no. Quick review: It’s Not About Latin™ but religious liberty and ecumenism, which rightly understood aren’t a problem. Still I respect their fear, considering how the council screwed Catholics over. Venuleius: Though I know this won’t happen, my “hope” (if you can call it that) is that the Vatican will just throw in the towel on this one, hand the SSPX a document making them a Society of Apostolic Life, and allow them to keep doing their thing unmolested. Like how Fr Feeney didn’t have to recant (he’d been kicked out for disobeying, not because of his views).
