- Rand Paul fallout.
- What it means to the base.
- Larison: A Romney-Rand Paul ticket. Revisited.
- National service. The left sort of misses the golden era too but not for the right reasons and its means of course are awful. While I’d love to see the Greatest Generation again, and I am if anything pro-military, the draft was wrong to begin with and civilian national service is a lousy substitute.
- Going so-con with Dreher: A story about a homosexual. Honest about it. But married. Faithful. With kids. I understand this is how historically people often dealt with this. Without cruel therapy to try to cure it. There aren’t that many homosexuals (what, 3%?) and antiquity didn’t see it as its own thing, even when it tolerated it. Noah Millman chimes in.
- What the left wants. A Scandinavian country is on its way to forcing churches to have same-sex weddings. The window-dressing opt-out clause won’t last. They don’t want liberty. They want power.
- Kids are better off in traditional families.
- Into Roissy and Sailer country: Assortative mating making people worse off.
- Low-trust clannishness, good and bad points.
- He needed killin’. I never will understand why more uncles or men in local Catholic communities didn’t come to a vigorous private understanding with Father Funny Fingers. I am a troglodyte in that way.
Catholic integralism is the true seamless garment.
Don't apologize for things you didn't do, to people who don't believe in forgiveness or redemption.
