Car show, Clifton Heights, Pa.
A small show every year. No James Dean ’49 Merc like last year. This year’s stars were Chevys: ’57 and ’58 Bel Airs and a ’63 Impala.
I’m not a big fan of the ’57. My dad thought they were ugly at the time and they’ve become a Fifties cliché vs. the real ’50s. But this car is beautiful. Perfect stock condition.
Love the pics u took from the car event today, I wish I was there with u at ur event. But ur do ur things on Sunday so it was ok. Those cars are cool I like the silver bel air. Well philly isn't really known for having or doing cars show but every now and again they have them at the convention center. Well u did a nice job on posting it! :)
I liked the 1957 Chevy! The last of the post-WWII line of autos before those double head light cars of 1958+. I usually preferred the earlier single head light autos to the double monstrosities except perhaps for the 1964-1967 Chevy Impala, soft top.
